We're incredibly excited to showcase Ilya's work along with a one-on-one interview on FableHatch in this week's Artist Spotlight.
Ilya Ozornin is a seasoned artist reigning out of Sverdlovsk, Russia. When appreciating Ilya's character design, you'll notice his art is uniquely distinguishable from other artists by his soft hues and details. From his stunning Russian astronauts to his "Queen of the Black Marsh" warrior painting, there is a singular conclusion; His talent is extraordinary, and his female design is top-notch.

What city, state and country do you live in now?
-Russia city of Ekaterinburg
What is your main art application?
-photoshop
What other tools or applications do you use?
-sometimes I take photos of my hands or search for poses, my wife or myself for a better understanding of the shape
What reference materials do you like the most (books, magazines, comics, websites, etc.)?
-I try to pay attention to everything I come across. you never know what might push you to new ideas
Which of your favorite concept artists or illustrators do you draw inspiration from?
-Gerald Brom
Did you have any training? If so, what schools or classes did you attend? If not, what process did you use to achieve your level of artistic talent?
-I have been drawing since childhood. more purposefully from 11 years. studied at the Art Institute - Ural State University of Architecture and Art
What other personal information could you share with us so your fans can see what it's like to be you ?!
-you don't need to be me, or someone else, you need to be yourself, it's always valued higher. the main thing is discipline and work
