Azamat Khairov’s interest in art began while he was a child. Now an accomplished digital artist, he is the CG Artist Art Director of a gaming company in Krasnodar, Russia. Before becoming an expert in character design and digital illustration, he spent his life drawing his way through school. From a young age up to his time studying at the faculty of arts at the Pedagogical University, his passion for art was unwavering. After completing his studies, he spent ten years doing his concept art and digital illustration in graphic design, motion design, advertising, and video editing.
Despite his spells in these industries, he always wanted his creative freedom to draw. So, he left it all and shipped to Thailand to explore new frontiers. In Thailand, he joined Gamedev and honed his craft as a CG artist. In between, he did digital illustration and concept art in the gaming industry. He is proud to have been surrounded by great people and talented professional artists who inspired his style throughout his career.
Now that Azamat is back home in Russia, he spends his time drawing and loves sharing his work. When he is not drawing, Azamat is an avid Russia Piano player and drummer, but on other days he prefers to play basketball. His concept art and digital art need no introduction, he is a master of his style, and we love to share his work with you.
Be sure to follow Azamat Khairov if you are interested in digital illustration, character design, and everything in between.
